Sarah Smallhouse

Sarah Smallhouse is President of the Thomas R. Brown Foundations which focus on education and research, workforce development, and civic leadership. The University of Arizona is the foundation’s largest grant recipient, and the Brown Foundations support two faculty chairs, scholarships, and several programs in the College of Science. She has been a member of the College of Science Advisory Board since 2012 and Chairs the Galileo Circle.

Smallhouse is a past-chair of the UA Foundation, co-chaired the Arizona Now Capital Campaign, and served on the UAF Investment Committee for many years. She is the current Chair of the Biosphere 2 Advisory Board, and a past member of the Desert Research Laboratory Advisory Board.
