Physics is Phun
Sponsored by the Department of Physics, these public outreach field trips to the University of Arizona are designed to teach K-12 students in the Tucson area about the simple laws that govern the physical universe. Guided activities include Newton’s laws of motion, making liquids from gases, making magnetism from electricity, and exploring the optics of mirrors and lenses. Activities are covered at a level appropriate to the age group of visiting students.

Schedule
Physics Discovery is offered each semester on Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon.
Cost
Physics Discovery is $5 per student for groups of 16 to 28 students, or $7 per student when booked in combination with a Flandrau Field Trip and Planetarium program. Ask about Title 1 school discounts for both programs.
