Academic Advising

The College of Science is extremely proud of its advising community consisting of twelve professional advisors and numerous faculty advisors. Advisors are on hand to provide answers to student questions on proper policies and procedures and guidance on course selection and creating a comprehensive academic plan. The advisors keep students updated with the latest information on research, outreach, and extracurricular activities.

Ambassador Program

The UA SCIENCE Ambassadors are bright, outgoing undergraduates who assist with recruiting high school students to the University of Arizona. By example and through presentations, the UA SCIENCE Ambassadors represent the range of opportunities available to undergraduates in the College of Science.

Information for Current Students

Undergraduates in the College of Science at the University of Arizona can participate in numerous activities that advance personal and professional growth. Students are encouraged to get involved in an independent research project, to join clubs and organizations related to their field of interest, and to seek mentoring and advising from faculty members and professional advisors.

Information for Prosepective Students

College of Science undergraduates learn about science by doing science in research laboratories, not just through coursework. Science faculty members throughout the University actively recruit students to participate in cutting-edge research projects that include state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities.
