Departments and Units

The University of Arizona's College of Science teaching, research and outreach programs are conducted through fifteen major academic departments and research units.

Together, these departments/units span the range of modern physical, mathematical, environmental, and life sciences. Many of our departments/units are ranked in the top ten nationally in their specific disciplines and all are highly recognized internationally.
