Marine Discovery

Marine Discovery (ECOL 450) is a 4-credit class offered through Ecology and Evolutionary Biology which provides on-campus, hands-on workshops in marine biology for local elementary and middle school students in grades 3-8. Undergraduates in the class do all of the workshop instruction. A general background in marine biology or invertebrate zoology and an enthusiam for teaching children is all that is required. There is a mandatory field trip to CEDO in Puerto Peñasco.
