Biotechnology Laboratory Experience for High School Students

The Biotechnology Lab for Arizona Students and Teachers (BLAST) lab exists to provide students from Arizona with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a state of the art molecular biology lab. The BLAST lab also provides researchers at the University of Arizona with an established and proven environment in which they can develop outreach programs to expose high school students to molecular biology. Researchers are encouraged to examine previous courses and develop new course materials for the BLAST lab that suit their own research program.
