Insect Discovery

Insect Discovery is a science outreach program designed to stimulate students’ scientific curiosity through hands-on activities using live and preserved insects. The program uses workshops at the UA to explore biological diversity both among insects and among microbial organisms that live in and on insects (endosymbionts).

In addition to field trips, the program provides classroom visits, outreach events, teacher training and lesson plans.
