Tucson Natural History Website
This online resource provides the following for K-16 teachers:
- Exercises developed by K-12 teachers and Geosciences faculty and students to help expand K-12 students knowledge of both Tucson's geologic and recent history. Exercises can be conducted both hand-on through field trips or by using on-line material.
- Powerpoint presentations describing different aspects about the Catalina Mountains and flooding in Tucson.
- Images contained within our archive include historical photos from the late-1800s to early-1900s, aerial photographs of Sunnyside and Desert View High Schools, A-Mountian, and several more photographs of Tucson's geology and ecology.
